  1. One (1) Parliament Point is earned for Mentoring Leaders each time a Direct Designer advances in rank to Team Leader or above for the first time. **

* If a Designer personally advances in rank multiple Titles above Team Leader for the first time in one month, they will earn one (1) Parliament Point for Mentoring Leaders for each Title skipped.

**A Mentor’s Paid-As Title must be equivalent to, or exceed that of, the Direct Designers’ new Career/Achieved Title (Team Leader or above) in the same month the first-time rank advancement occurs. If the Direct Designer advances in rank multiple Titles for the first time in one month, Parliament Points for Mentoring Leaders may be earned for each Title skipped following the same rules.

Let’s break down what a first-time rank advancement is for New, Inactive and Re-Enrolled Designers for purposes of the Parliament Program:

  • NEW DESIGNERS
    • A new Designer is one who has never been part of the Origami Owl family before and joins during the qualification period and rank advances to Team Leader and above.
  • INACTIVE DESIGNERS
    • If a Designer becomes Inactive at any time, she or he will forfeit her or his Downline, and all members of the Downline will roll up to the Designer’s Mentor. In such a case, the Designer will be returned to the Career Title of “Designer.” If the Designer becomes Active and advances in rank to Team Leader and above, Mentoring Leaders Points can be earned once the Designer advances in rank above their original Achieved Title prior to going Inactive.
  • RE-ENROLLMENTS
    • Mentors will not earn Parliament Points for re-enrollments on ranks they had achieved prior to re-enrolling. Mentoring Leaders Points can be earned once the Designer advances in rank above their original Achieved Title Team Leader and above.
